Description

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Its mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts. On field trips, students are led through outdoor explorations with experienced educators.

We invite you to bring your own food and eat lunch at Wave Hill’s outdoor picnic area.

Cancellation Policy

Programs are mostly outdoors and take place rain or shine. In the event of particularly
inclement weather or unsafe conditions, we will cancel the program and make every
attempt to reschedule your visit. If you wish to cancel your visit, you must do so at
least four weeks in advance in order to receive a full refund.
