Lunch Notes

The Philadelphia Zoo has picnic tables for to use during your visit. In addition, with food and drink stations throughout the Zoo - from treats to sweets to serious eats - we've got dining options for carnivores and herbivores alike.

Bathroom Notes

Bathrooms are available throughout the Zoo's campus. The Zoo additionally offers family restrooms at the Main Entrance, KidZooU, WildWorks Plaza, and across from the Colobus monkeys at the south end of the Zoo.

Cancellation Policy

All tickets must be reserved in advance online. The Zoo is open rain or shine and reservations are non-refundable. As a courtesy, changes can be made to reservation day/time (pending availability) up until 11:59 p.m. the night before the visit. After that time, reservations are final, and changes cannot be made. If you need to cancel or reschedule a school group visit, for any reason, you must email the Group Sales office at groupsales@phillyzoo.org to discuss your options. Rescheduling is based on availability, and we may not always be able to accommodate a change in date.

Philly Zoo to You

A virtual gateway to wildlife discovery and meaningful curriculum-focused programming that aims to spark curiosity and care for wildlife and the world we share. Students in grades K through 4 are immersed in digital, inquiry-based activities focused on habitats, life cycles, living versus non-living organisms, adaptations, and endangered species.
