Description

Students will explore the creation of watercolor art as they experiment with the techniques of wet on wet, wet on dry, and color washing. Students will be guided through our gallery space as they absorb the inspiration to create a work of art of their own.

The Noble Maritime Collection

The Noble Maritime Collection is a museum and study center located on the North Shore of Staten Island. The museum is housed in a 21,000 sq.-ft. fully accessible historic building within the Sailors’ Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The museum has much to offer in terms of differing spaces for the students to explore; from the immersive boathouse to art studio workspaces to the interactive classrooms there is something for all ages.
The organization offers a diverse collection of school programs for grades 2-12 with a focused blend of art and history related to New York City’s working waterfront.
