Virtual Dramatic Readings

Description

Programs Coordinator and regional stage actor Dean Knight will do a variety of dramatic readings of Poe's work, interspersed with information about Poe's life and times. Works to be read may include "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Conqueror Worm", "The Raven", "Ulalume", "The Bells", "Annabel Lee", and others, and can be customized if group desires.

Poe Museum

The Poe Museum is located in Richmond, Virginia, home town to Edgar Allan Poe, one of the finest writers of the 19th century. In his short life Poe revolutionized the horror story, invented the detective story, helped pioneer science fiction, and wrote brilliant poetry. The museum has the largest collection of artifacts related to Poe anywhere in the world on public display in its three buildings.
