The Tell-Tale Heart Virtual Mock Trial

Description

In this virtual courtroom experience, a murderer is put on trial for his life after killing an old man and chopping up his body. YOU are charged with delivering the verdict--is he GUILTY or NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY?

A Poe Museum staff member will portray the protagonist in Poe's story "The Tell-Tale Heart" while audience members will portray lawyers for the defense and prosecution, presided over by a judge and deliberated on by a jury.
