Self-guided field trips are a great way to extend learning (and fun!) beyond the classroom while allowing students the freedom to explore at their own pace. At the Children’s Museum, we are committed to kid-powered learning and creating meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and independent discovery.
Our hands-on, interactive exhibits are thoughtfully designed to support 21st Century Skills and engage students in science, the arts, and literacy. During their visit, students may investigate sudsy science in Bubbles, express creativity in The Art Studio, explore the Laws of Motion in Kinetics, or stay active in Joy Park.
The Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus believes in kid-powered learning and every day, their expertly designed exhibits and programs open doors for Colorado's curious young minds to express what they know and to discover, create and explore more - on their own terms.
The Children’s Museum focuses on early childhood education, serving children newborn to age eight, with interactive exhibits and educational programming focusing on on STEM, health and wellness, 21st Century Skills, literacy and the arts. The Museum offers self-guided field trips or outreach programs in your classroom. Financial aid is available to qualifying schools.
