The Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus believes in kid-powered learning and every day, their expertly designed exhibits and programs open doors for Colorado's curious young minds to express what they know and to discover, create and explore more - on their own terms.
The Children’s Museum focuses on early childhood education, serving children newborn to age eight, with interactive exhibits and educational programming focusing on on STEM, health and wellness, 21st Century Skills, literacy and the arts. The Museum offers self-guided field trips or outreach programs in your classroom. Financial aid is available to qualifying schools.
There is a Café on-site to purchase a variety of healthy and fresh sandwiches, wraps and salads. Please note that the Museum does not provide free indoor facilities for school groups to eat lunch or snack, even in the case of inclement weather. Indoor lunch space may be reserved for a fee, subject to availability (two weeks notice required). The Museum is located next to Gates Crescent Park, where park benches and grassy areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Museum offers multiple restroom options for school groups:
Three multi-stall restrooms: Two located on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor.
Seven single-stall restrooms: Four located on the 1st floor and three on the 2nd floor.
