Playwriting Workshops for Middle & High School Students

Description

Calling all educators! The Denver Center for the Performing Arts offers free playwriting workshops for middle and high school students. Workshops are a great precursor to the DCPA’s annual Playwriting Competition, which culminates in public, staged readings of three winning scripts plus cash prizes! All workshops are:
• 60-minutes
• In-person or virtual
• Offered through early December (varies by year)
• Led by DCPA Education faculty & industry professionals

Register for up to 10 workshops per school.

STUDENT MATINEES & FIELD TRIPS
Students will enjoy live performances and post-show discussions with actors and our creative team. Plus, teachers can use professionally prepared study guides to connect the show to their curriculum. Reduced-price tickets and scholarships are available.
