OUTREACH: Fantastic Flowers

Description

If you can’t make it to Queens Botanical Garden, we can bring our program to you!

Fantastic Flowers:
Connect to your inner scientist and artist by applying your powers of observation! Participants dissect flowers and learn about the function of each part before creating floral-inspired art, using their knowledge of flower color, shape and form.

Cost for Schools: $350 for 1 workshop. $300 each for multiple workshops scheduled on the same day.
Cost Non-School Groups: Starting at $400 per group

These workshops are participatory and must take place in a classroom with tables and chairs.

Example schedules (please indicate your preferred schedule when filling out the booking questionnaire form):

2 or 3 Pre-K classes:
10:00am - 10:45am: class 1
11:00am - 11:45am: class 2
12:00pm - 12:45pm: class 3

4 Pre-K classes:
10:00am - 10:45am - 2 classes (separate classrooms)
11:00am - 11:45am - 2 classes (separate classrooms)

2 to 3 Three-K classes (shortened classes):
10:00am - 10:30am: class 1
10:45am - 11:15am: class 2
11:30am - 12:00pm: class 3

4 Three-K classes (shortened classes):
10:00am - 10:30am - 2 classes (separate classrooms)
10:45am - 11:15am - 2 classes (separate classrooms)
