Learn how music can build bridges. Sheldon Sands, professional musician and educator, performs live music from around the world for students and teaches them about geography, cultural musical practices, and music’s innate ability to build bridges between diverse audiences. This program is designed to be held at your school and can be paired with Bridges of Cultural Understanding, our traveling exhibits. $10/person (30-40 people) $250 plus $1/person (over 40 people) Subsidies available; please contact us.
The Mizel Museum is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding, combating racism, and promoting social justice. We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate diversity and combat discrimination and hatred. Our programs, events, and exhibits address these and other social issues and encourage positive change in our communities.
