Each year the DCPA is proud to partner with Denver Public Schools to welcome 5,000 students of all ages to the DPS Shakespeare Festival. To prepare for the day-long event, the DCPA offers in-school workshops throughout the Denver school district and beyond. Then, each April, students fill downtown's Arts Complex and perform scenes and sonnets from the works of William Shakespeare as well as demonstrate dances, songs and music of his era.
Bring your students to a show or get dramatic results in your classroom. Our programs go beyond performances with in-class experiences, resources and workshops that bring your lessons to life.
