Ever want to learn what a neuroscientist does on the job?
Well, our "Day In The Life Tours" is an awesome opportunity for you to interact with our researchers, scientists, and students at CUNY Advance Science Research Center.

This live event is accessible from an ; computer, laptop, or phone where you will tour The ASRC building and interact with our scientist and host. This fun experience include a live and interactive tour of The CUNY Advanced Science Research, through our immersive virtual space, and an introduction to our interdisciplinary research philosophy.

For Brain Awareness week we'll be joined by a researcher from our Neuroscience initiative who will guide you through their own lab and share about their journey becoming a scientist.

Are you interested in having your students interact with top scientists from across the world?**
If so we have great news!

The Advanced Science Research Center’s IlluminationSpace Tour is the perfect learning opportunity for your students. The ASRC IlluminationSpace field trip program welcomes hundreds of visitors each year, both to our interactive educational center located on the first floor of our Research facility.

Experiences are FREE and introduce participants to CUNY and the mission of interdisciplinary research at The ASRC and what a career as a scientist looks like. Tour guides cover the key concepts of our 5 research initiatives which include:
Nanoscience
Photonics
Structural Biology
Neuroscience
Environmental Science

In-Person Trips

Morning and afternoon trips available. Mornings from 10:30-12:30 Afternoon slots are flexible starting at 2:30 and ending latest at 6.

In- person field trips are a two hour experience and center around The IlluminationSpace is an immersive learning environment featuring interactive, motion sensing exhibitions highlighting the fundamentals of each research initiative at the ASRC. Facilitators help guide students through the exhibits and lead conversations on research in our everyday lives. A guest scientist joins us for a career talk and tour of their lab. All students leave with a CUNY admissions packet and guide to other STEM programs in NYC.
