At The Table with Dr. King is a multifaceted performance that teaches students about the American Civil Rights movement and valuable lessons of equality and respect. Through music, poetry, historical video footage and Dr. King’s own words, At The Table with Dr. King also challenges students to engage in creative acts of service and leadership in their communities. Meets Colorado Academic Standards in Social Studies, Drama and Theatre Arts, Music, and Comprehensive Health. In-person performances start at $9/person; see our website for more information. Virtual programs also available.
The Mizel Museum is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding, combating racism, and promoting social justice.
