The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures 39.03078° N -94.58201° W

Description

The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures educates, inspires, and delights adults and children through the museum’s collection and preservation of toys and miniatures. The museum contains the world's largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and one of the largest collections of historic toys on public display in the United States.

Fine-scale miniatures are pieces of art created in precise scale using math and measuring, while toys reflect and explore history, play, and imagination. The museum can work with teachers to develop a self-guided visit, guided tour, or activity along specific learning objectives. Advance booking for field trips is required.
