The High Line 40.747993° N -74.00477° W

Description

The Highline, opened in 2009, transformed an abandoned train way into a beautiful public park. There are great views of the Hudson River and beautiful pieces of public art. Because it uses all native plants, it is a great place to learn about the local ecosystem. The Friends of the Highline host field trips and provide resources for you to do your own.
