Tenement Museum 40.71879° N -73.99009° W

Description

The Tenement Museum features five fully restored period apartments. When visiting, students can get a glimpse of what life was like in a New York City Tenement Apartment for the various families that lived there between the 1860s and 1910s. Field trip opportunities include community walks and tours to specific family apartments with a costumed docent. A visit to the Tenement Museum is a great compliment to an immigration unit!
