Point of View

MCA Denver’s Ambassador program is now POV, aka Point of View. Same focus, new name.

POV is a semester-long, paid internship for high school students in the Denver area, with a focus on exploring, creating, and sharing contemporary ideas. Together participants represent a diverse group of teens and experiences. They are outgoing, curious, and committed to creating vibrant spaces for their peers. While in the program we encourage participants to take risks, engage with museum professionals, interact with their peers and community, and explore all things MCA Denver. Throughout the semester participants will work together to produce a zine focused on teen happenings in and around MCA Denver. They are also responsible for planning a release event to celebrate the completion of their publication. POV is a space to explore new concepts, highlight exciting ideas, and create and share original content.

Rather than focusing on achievement, Failure Lab is dedicated to developing creativity, becoming a place where the risk of failure is always a possibility. Weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays at the museum from 4–6PM. Applications for the each school year are accepted from March–May of the prior school year.
