Description

Our Mission is to inspire curiosity and foster learning about Lee’s Summit’s past by providing engaging, individual, and unique experiences for the community.

The Lee's Summit History Museum features exhibits about: the Kansas and Missouri Border War during the Civil War; citizens in WWI and WWII; Agriculture; the WPA era; Longview Farm; and local musicians.

Our teacher volunteers will work with you to create engaging and educational activities for students. Tours and activities are available outside of operating hours also.

Food is not allowed, but restaurants and a small park are located nearby.

Bathroom Notes

A wheelchair accessible unisex bathroom is available.
