Docent Led School Tour

In this one- hour tour for school groups, a docent volunteer leads one to ten (1– 10) students in a participatory conversation about Kemper Museum's current exhibitions. The maximum number of students per booking date is 50. We book by groups of 1 to 25 students. So, if you have 26-50 students, you will book two groups.

Please bring one adult (chaperone or teacher) per ten students. These may attend in addition to the ten person tour group size. Thank you!

Tour Groups

Tiny Tour! An adult, a child, and a museum guide!

Tiny Tours! inspire conversation between ONE adult and ONE two to twelve year-old child in Kemper Museum's galleries. In each Tiny Tour, a Kemper Museum guide engages you and one young guest in fun conversation about contemporary art and artists. Tiny Tours make wonderful memories and help kids and grown-ups connect with one another and the art of our time. Tiny Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

These special conversations begin on Saturdays at 11 AM and 1:30 PM. Consider making lunch reservations before or after your Tiny Tour! at the museum's art-filled restaurant, Café Sebastienne!

Looking for a tour for more than two people? "Docent Led Tours" are perfect for groups or 3 or more people. We will begin offering Docent Led Tours to all groups on March 20th, 2023!
