This environmental education facility, nestled in the heart of 2,800 acres of parkland in central Staten Island, offers experiential education for students to hike and explore the wonders of nature ...all without having to leave New York City!


Lunch Notes

There are outdoor picnic benches and a front lawn. Other arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Nature Center Coordinator.

Bathroom Notes

Facility is ADA-compliant and indoor restrooms are located in the nature center lobby, just past the entrance.
