Description

Over 12 million people came to New York through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954. Ellis Island has been converted into a museum in tribute to their struggles and journey. Children visiting will learn about where immigrants came from, what caused them to immigrate, and can look up family members that may have come through the island.
