City of Aurora Cultural Arts offers educational outreach programming in fine art, dance, language arts, music, humanities, pottery and theatre. Most programs are available year-round and are adaptable to grade level.
Programs address Colorado curriculum standards. Discounts may be available. Please contact us so we can discuss what kind of programming is right for your school or community group. If we don't have the resources you need, we will help you find someone who does.

Learn about ranching and farming life in Aurora on a guided tour. Students see the Gully Homestead House, the DeLaney Round Barn and participate in our history skills trail activities.

Students take over city government in the Aurora Council Chambers and climb aboard a 1913 trolley trailer in the Growing Home exhibit. Field trip includes mock city council meeting. Program can be 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the group.
