Active in New York's maritime and economic history for over 200 years, the Brooklyn Navy Yard is a great place to learn about history, engineering and economics. The center itself is housed in the restored and renovated Marine Commandant’s residence and hosts a permanent exhibit on the Brooklyn Navy Yard's past, present and future as well as a series of rotating exhibits.
