We all need to get from one place to another, but different animals move in very different ways. Learn the secrets of how animals walk, swim, fly and slither. This program will include live animals and an outdoor hike.
Burr Oak Woods Nature Center is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Nestled in the heart of this 1,071-acre conservation area are six hiking trails, an interpretive center with educational exhibits including at 3,000 gallon freshwater aquarium, wildlife viewing room and a variety of live amphibians and reptiles.
