Three Nowashe Learning Stations

Description

Rotate between three different learning stations inside Nowashe Village for a well-rounded educational experience and remain on site for lunch, too.

Pricing generally runs $25 per person for adult groups, $20 per child for homeschool and scout groups or similar, and $15 per child for school groups. These rates generally include a snack and craft, but programs are fully customizable and we can often work within a budget.

Nowashe Village

Nowashe Village is a permanent outdoor museum of Indigenous life, set on nearly 1 acre. It features two wigwams, a classroom-sized Sachem’s House lined with cedar benches, a Three Sisters garden, multiple gathering spaces and woodland trails lined with ethno-botanical plantings. Nowashe Village is owned and operated by the Friends of Wood Memorial Library & Museum, and is located directly behind Wood Memorial Library, where thousands of local artifacts and ecofacts are on display. Nowashe is open for private fieldtrips seven days a week by appointment.
