This tour celebrates the work of established and emerging artists who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color or who are in the LGBTQ community. These artists use their art to highlight issues of social justice.
Take a walk on the wild side with a tour focused on sustainability, climate change, and animals in art.
The First Americans
Explore the art, culture, and history of Native North America—from ancient times through today. Learn how Native arts have evolved across vast regions of North America in response to social and political change.
Facetime: Exploring Portraits
Discover how artists depict people, from yesterday to today, through paintings, photography, and in some cases, sculptures.
Places & Spaces: Landscapes in American Art
Discover the many different ways artists engage with the evolving American landscape and built environment.
Available Fridays 9:30-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 12:30-1:30 p.m., 2-3 p.m., 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Class is limited to 9 or fewer students and must include at least one adult chaperone. All participants must adhere to MAM’s Covid-19 guidelines including mask wearing.
