Programs are designed to meet the needs of emotionally, physically, or educationally challenged groups and will focus on a variety of sensory experiences. Flexible, hands-on programs offer a nurturing developmental approach to the study of nature.

Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center
Burr Oak Woods Nature Center is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Nestled in the heart of this 1,071-acre conservation area are six hiking trails, an interpretive center with educational exhibits including at 3,000 gallon freshwater aquarium, wildlife viewing room and a variety of live amphibians and reptiles.
