Play, learn, explore, and discover during school readiness camp at Muse Knoxville! Going to school for the first time can seem a little scary, but we are here to show you that learning with friends can be fun! Ready, Set, School! camp is designed for children ages 4-6 years old who are getting ready to enter Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten at a Knox County School. Your child will be able to spend their days with us during the two-week staggered day entry program. Go to your staggered days at your home school and spend the rest of the week exploring and learning here at Muse Knoxville!
- We kindly ask that all campers be fully potty trained to attend Camp Muse. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a positive experience for all participants!

Muse Knoxville
Muse Knoxville is a children’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math (STEAM) museum in Chilhowee Park. Our programs in the museum, schools across East Tennessee, & throughout Knoxville bring STEAM, the arts, health & wellness & emergent literacy to life in children’s minds.
Field Trips
Our field trips are 2.5 hours and includes 45 minute each of classroom lesson, planetarium show and free play on the museum floor. Each day Muse Knoxville can accommodate up to 3 groups (classes) per day.
Family Programs
STEAM Nights and Activities include: two hours of thematic programming for 150 people at your location, five STEAM-based activities, Muse Outreach Educators to facilitate, training for volunteers, and optional “add-ons.”
