Project Daylight (School Tour)

Description

This FREE classroom-sized session with two trained presenters is for 6th and 7th grades to support mental wellness for KC area pre-teens.

Partnering with the UMKC’s Department of Social Work to train our actors and facilitators, this session addresses the mental health issues we’re seeing on a fast rise in our schools.

This innovative, interactive theatre work introduces middle school students, an often underserved group, to mental wellness concepts—with the goals of de-stigmatizing asking for help, opening dialogue, and providing resiliency tools.
