Outreach: Seashore Splash Discovery Station
Description
Life is tough in the tidepools! Children will discover some of the crazy ways tidepool animals are adapted for the rocky shores. With hands-on interaction, students will be able to touch, see, and discover what it takes to cling to a slippery home.
A 60-minute discovery booth featuring a local San Diego animal and hands-on science interaction. Perfect for your next science night or community event. Discovery Stations allow students to explore freely with a Living Coast staff member to answer questions.

Living Coast Discovery Center
The Living Coast Discovery Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit zoo and aquarium located on the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Founded in 1987 as the Chula Vista Nature Interpretive Center, we have served the San Diego community for over 30 years. The Living Coast Discovery Center is home to many native San Diego species including sharks, fish, lizards, and birds of prey. Students will have the opportunity to visit our animal ambassadors and explore the Sweetwater Marsh through trail exploration.
