Offsite Close Encounter
Description
Close Encounters provide a more in-depth, up-close learning experience, meant for a single
class. Each program will be 30 minutes and include 2 animal ambassadors.
Program Size: Up to 33 students (meant for a single class)
Cost:
$350 flat rate
$210 for Title 1 schools
50% off for consecutive classroom programs. Please keep in mind we require 15 minute gap between consecutive programs.

Our school and group programs are great for any group – not just schools! Scouts, homeschool groups, libraries, senior centers, and more can all enjoy these exciting offerings. These programs give participants a memorable, fun, and highly educational way to learn about animals and conservation.
All programs are age-appropriate and complement the Virginia Standards of Learning along with curriculum requirements in North Carolina and for private schools. Scouts can also complete certain badge requirements; ask us for more information!
Behind the Scenes Tours
We share our reservation portal with our school programs. Guests that are reserving a Behind-the-Scenes Tour, don't be alarmed when the site asks for teachers' information and school information.
