Bring the whole grade or whole school together for a 30-minute auditorium-style program
where they will meet and learn about 3 animal ambassadors!
Grade Level:
Pre-K through 2nd Grade: World Traveler
3rd through 12th Grade: Zoo Edventure
*Unfortunately, we do not offer this program for early childhood/toddlers.
Program Size:
34-95 individuals*
*Larger groups of up to 200 can be accommodated in late Spring by request only. Contact vazoo.reservations@norfolk.gov
Cost:
$12/individual
$7/student for fully funded Title 1 public schools.
Cost includes program and general admission to the Zoo.

Our school and group programs are great for any group – not just schools! Scouts, homeschool groups, libraries, senior centers, and more can all enjoy these exciting offerings. These programs give participants a memorable, fun, and highly educational way to learn about animals and conservation.
All programs are age-appropriate and complement the Virginia Standards of Learning along with curriculum requirements in North Carolina and for private schools. Scouts can also complete certain badge requirements; ask us for more information!
