Of all the fine arts, opera is the most collaborative and these workshops offer proof! Led by Opera Colorado’s Teaching Artists, these fun and informative workshops integrate opera into established curriculum and apply to a wide variety of subjects, including Vocal and Acting Master Classes, Shakespeare, History, Communication, Teambuilding, 21st Century Learning Skills, and much more.

During a typical season, Opera Colorado’s Education & Community Engagement Programs reach more than 45,000 learners of all ages—both in the Denver metro area and throughout the state of Colorado. Our vibrant array of programming includes touring productions of classic operas, lectures and in-school workshops customized to practically any topic, field trips to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver, and much more.
Each performance comes with free, downloadable lesson plans that align with Colorado Academic Standards. Opera Colorado offers both live and digital programs.
