Description

55 minute program of short films from around the world.
This program offers a window into the trials and triumphs of girls around the world, with a refreshingly honest take on the young female experience. Some films include subtitles.
Recommended, but not limited to, groups from all-girls schools.
Students receive ballots and pencils to voice their opinions. Teachers receive Pre and Post visit guides.

New York International Children's Film Festival

NYICFF Film-Ed field trip screenings offer students the chance to experience thought-provoking film programs throughout the school year. Screenings are available for grades K-8 and include post-screening Q&As and discussion guides for teachers.

These screenings showcase a wide range of filmmaking techniques, and an even wider range of perspectives, as our Festival includes films from over 30 countries. Students will learn to think about form and craft as well as visual representation.
