Even in a city, nature is all around us! Youth will connect with our urban ecosystem and the history of life on this land through movement- and inquiry-based games that teach native and invasive plant identification, the importance of pollination, and species adaptation. Designed for your local park or outdoor classroom, this workshop will have you looking at the city in a whole new way!
Farm to Youth is designed to reach multiple classes in a single visit. We offer between 2 and 4 workshops per visit, and charge a flat rate for the day. The duration for each individual class can range from 40-60 minutes, depending on your school’s daily schedule.
Sample Schedule:
Class 1 - 9:00-9:50
Class 2 - 10:00-10:50
EDUCATOR BREAK 11:00-11:50
