Fall 2026 Field Trip to Teaching Garden
Description
Take a FREE trip to GrowNYCs Teaching Garden on Governors Island! Students will see the farm and participate in age-appropriate hands-on garden education. All students will get a chance to help with a garden activity (either planting a seed or transplant, sifting and spreading compost, or whatever task is needed for the farm that day).
Please note: The field trip time slot denotes the ferry time (i.e. 10:00 AM field trip slot means your class will be expected to catch the 10:00 AM ferry. We recommend trying to arrive to the ferry port 15 minutes before your scheduled ferry)
