A Columbia University engineer will come to your school to speak directly to students. Typically, engineers tell a “life story” and explain their personal path, including passions, education, current work, etc. Groups can range from a single class to large groups and Outreach Programs staff accompanies the speaker to the school.
Our programs provide the opportunity for students to hear from Columbia engineers.
The Inside Engineering Program invites students into Columbia University SEAS (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) labs to show them what engineering in practice looks like.
Engineering Speaks gives engineers from Columbia the opportunity to speak directly to students in local schools.
