Description

This self-guided tour lets students set out on their own to explore all the history the Colorado Railroad Museum has to offer.

Cost:
• $4 per child, PreK-12th grade
• Free admission for one adult chaperone for every five children (under 12). Chaperones receive free Museum admission. $10 for each adult over this ratio
Payment in full is due on the day of your field trip.

Railroads have been expanding our world here in Colorado for over 150 years! Not only have railroads sparked innovation but they played an integral role in westward expansion, accelerating settlement, and helping shape our state’s economy. This open-air museum covers 15 acres and provides multiple educational opportunities including standard-based field trips, workshops, digital lesson plans, and tours to learn how trains have been transforming our state since the 1870s.
