Students will take a guided hike onto the open space to learn about what makes the Colorado Short Grass Prairie ecosystem unique. Participants will explore using a combination of scavenger hunts, sensory observation, instructor demonstrations, and up-close looks at the plants and animals that live at Plains Conservation Center.
