Use detective skills and solve mysteries. This hands-on session will involve participants in the investigations of unusual animal biofacts and wildlife scenes, including mock fatalities. Working in teams, participants in this program will be engaged in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, listening and problem solving. 1 hour program. Available December, January, February and March.
This learning experience can be completed at the Ernie Miller Center or on-site at your school or education center.

Ernie Miller Park is JCPRD's 116-acre nature park consisting of a diverse range of habitats including tallgrass prairies, upland meadows, bottom land forest and a beautiful stream to explore.
The park also features an outdoor amphitheater with seating for 80 persons, picnic shelter, nature center and three miles of nature trails.
Our interpretive programs provide environmental and historical awareness and “hands on” educational experiences for students (for both school and home school) from kindergarten through sixth grade. With experience and educational backgrounds in the areas of natural resource management, fisheries and wildlife, biology, ecology, anthropology, outdoor recreation and education, the programs are taught by our very own JCPRD Park Police and Naturalists.
