Kemper Museum's Virtual Gallery Talks are informal conversations with trained museum docents. The talks take place on Zoom, using images of artworks from the Museum's current or recent exhibitions. In 2021, Virtual Talks are planned for the exhibition, "Elias Sime, Tightrope," and (beginning in March) "Dyani White Hawk: Speaking with Relatives." Virtual Gallery Talks use the Google Arts and Culture online platform, which offers special viewing techniques and high-resolution images of artworks, as well as views of the actual installations at Kemper Museum. Google’s online galleries provide fine ground for discussion, and a personalized way to prepare for or follow-up on a Museum visit.
Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art is a leading presenter of global modern and contemporary art in the region.
