Description

"The Morgan Library & Museum began as the private library of financier Pierpont Morgan (1837–1913), and is now home to a beautiful collection of illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books, and old master drawings and prints. Educational programs at the museum are anchored in teaching philosophies that define education as a way of building children's confidence as self-reliant seekers of knowledge and independent-minded creative thinkers.
