Description

Discover the past at the oldest museum in New-York!

Founded in 1804, the New-York Historical Society uncovers the richly layered political, cultural, and social history of New York City and the nation.

You will have the option of visiting a special exhibition and/or our permanent collection galleries, in inquiry-driven, interactive tours. Students will be actively engaged with New York City's diverse and multicultural history through our unique collections of artifacts, works of art, and documents that span over 400 years of our collective past.

A talented Museum Educator leads every 90-minute experience. All topics support social studies and literacy curriculum standards.
